The CD is the soundtrack. The movie will be released in December 2013 with no sound. You guys can sync the damn soundtrack yourselves!

Sounds like something The Flaming Lips would do.

Would you admit to it on here, where you will be respectfully screwed, chewed and abused by dumb opinions and ridiculed with Ad Homo's till you don't know what to do?

The one's that bought it here did so for completest collections and I doubt they would want the hassle of marketing & selling them...or admit to buying it either. Who wants the hassle. What if Trendy doesn't think your worthy, my god Madge, can you understand the implications of what I'm sayin??? All that grief for what? So we know someone who bought it? If I had the bread to buy it, y'all would all have had a free copy by now.

There has been somebody that's posted here that bought it. I can't find the thread, because I barely looked for it, but it's somewhere.

Ordered - paying the shipping even if I don't like the price. Screw it. I want the music. I put aside a few bucks for this and the next Road Tapes. I bet I can eat tomorrow now.

I equate the cost of everything with chickens. I could get two nice Zappa cds for the cost of 4 chickens!

So, you're using the Image to measure it?

Funny you should say that, tweezers. I was going to give him shit saying that the spines must not line up properly with the Roxy/Proxy master but I knew I'd just get an STFU response so I refrained.

I cannot imagine jaypfunk cranking out ROXY by PROXY copies and selling them - if Trendy requested one Jayp would kill him,

Is this really being released with no tracklist available online anywhere? Really? Seriously?

This has been the normal procedure for Zappa releases for quite some time.

T’Mershi Duween
Dog/Meat
RDNZL
Cheepnis
Dupree’s Paradise
King Kong
Chunga’s Revenge

I suppose I'm going to end up buying this from BS at the same time as Road Tapes 2 and hopefully I'll not get shafted for P&P, mind you, I'll get shafted for customs duty instead because 2 cd's will mean I have to pay VAT at 20% here in the UK.
I really don't know why everything has to be so fukking difficult/cryptic/complicated but I've had that rant often enough, no need to repeat it.
This is last call, if you did buy the master and you want to sell copies to us folks in the UK without scalping us for P&P I'd love to support your venture.

Honestly, I am kinda over the ZFT. I love Frank, but I no longer care to get these releases when they are new...unless they are only available via Barfko-Swill. I paid full price for Finer Moments, and that was a mistake. I think from now on, I will seek lightly used copies from reputable Amazon sellers. The lack of readily available pre-release info, the high prices for discs...I wish they used dead.net or something like that for a model but I guess being a smaller business model, they have to make up the difference somehow. Sucks.

I stopped buying from Barfko-Swill a few years ago when friends in the UK started getting the releases quicker and slightly cheaper from G&S Music (http://www.gandsmusic.com/).

They're the boys - based in Liverpool

I got Hammersmith Odeon from them

[I was there.

Of course]

Anyway, I can't wait for this release

I think if they did the dead.net model...you know, provide tracklist, artwork, make some videos about the making of the product, include specific merch, etc. it would be a smart move. It gets people talking and pumped about the release as opposed to pissed at you.

And I refuse to pay $30 for a CD (the price for the album plus shipping). I'll wait for road trips 2 non-information and decide to maybe bundle it at that point...maybe

Much as I would like to support the ZFT, most of my recent Zappa purchases have been via Amazon or G & S in the UK.......they seem to have the goods available long before the ZFT eg all the 2012 rereleases I got through Amazon as they were listed there wayyyyyy afore yon land lubbers at Barko got there act together....sad but true...

Having said that I have pre ordered Roxy cd from the official source

And speaking of all things Roxy, I had to resort to some extraordinary measures to get my hands on a genuine Gibson Roxy SG...since the southern hemisphere did not get any allocation from Gibson of the limited (400) edition signature guitar....It's now in NZ awaiting customs clearence.....there will be some import duty and 15% GST (goods and services tax) to pay before I can take possession

I'll let you know what it's cost me once I get my grubby little mits on it....
